The total charge for name tags & renting space at the hotel for Forge Midwest 2007 will be $1100 plus tax.

This is more than last year, as expected in the nicer hotel in the more expensive area.

Unfortunately, the current list of confirmed participants is somewhere around 30 people, with only a couple people otherwise telling me privately they're coming.

Obviously, when we do the math, that comes out to about $36 per person, possibly more once we figure in taxes and fees to the total bill.

This is more than I'd hoped to charge people, particularly since I expected around 50 participants. So, if you haven't entered confirmation that you're coming on evite.com, please do so: Click here to RSVP

We paid just under $20 per person last year, folks. It really was extraordinary fun. I hate to see participation slide and cost go up! But, I still think it's worth the money to have this event. So, this is fair warning that your price tag on Saturday morning will be as high as $36.
