cool idea

brings something new to (physical) RPG design (at least, I think it does)

Wow... OK, let me see if I follow:

You're releasing a DITV hard cover edition.
You're going to offer a choice of dust covers.
Now... don't laugh at me... are the dust covers photo-quality printings or actual quilted cloth? Put another way, are you going to somehow offer hand-made covers for any book sold?

And another thing: is the new hard cover edition revised in any way (errata, expansion, examples)?

Thanks! They look great, by the way. I'll be getting the mostly-green one--can I get that in a slightly burnt model?

Photo-quality printings, not quilts. My gracious!

The text includes the new simplified NPC rules, as an option in addition to the existing NPC rules.

The Bane

I will most definitely be looking forward to a hardback. I plan on actually making a quilted dust jacket for it too. Tres-Cool!

Thanks for the clarification, Vincent. *blush*

I'm in for a green one; I'll make my own burn marks if I have to (burnt green is a bit of an inside joke with my group... OK, it's not THAT "inside," but still...).

Is there anywhere we can see all the cover variants?

Not yet! Right now, three are finished and I'm waiting on proofs.

Meguey

Hey, if there's actual interest in a pattern/directions for a fabric cover for DitV hardback, let me know and I'll see what I can do. I love the idea of cloth covers, but I don't think it'd be reasonable at all for me to undertake that.

Hey, Meg:

Alexis says she has a lot of interest. She's a quilting novice, though, so the instructions would have to be step-by-step.
