Oh God ... ha! That's funny.

Here's my question, though - what's the background on that image? It looks like a real movie poster, obviously, so what was the original title, etc?

As for a solid, definite, actual movie for anyone who wants to know what I think is the reference for any Sorcerer game ...

Live Flesh. Directed by Pedro Almodovar, based on the novel by Ruth Rendell.

It's what Sorcerer would be without the explicit metaphor of the demons.

Best,
Ron

A quick look-up on imdb--  the original title is The Sorcerers (1967), even the tagline is the same (except its Boris Karloff instead of Ron Edwards).

Yeah, I just bought a coffee table book last night called "Trash: the graphic genius ofthe Xploitation movie posters". Obviously it's full of great OctaNe inspirado, but that particular one made me giggle (in the "groovy trash" section").

Some other gems:
- "It's loose again, eating everyone! SON OF BLOB!"
- "Cleaver. Cleaver. Chop. Chop. First the mom and then the pop. Then we'll get the pretty girl. We'll get her right between the curl. TWISTED NERVE"
-"CORRUPTION is not a woman's picture! Therefore: no women will be admitted alone to see this super-shock film!!"
- "They transplated a WHITE BIGOT'S HEAD onto a SOUL BROTHER'S BODY! The doctor blew it - the most fantastic medical experiment of the age. And now, with the fights, the fuzz, the chicks, and the coppers... Man, they're really in deeeep trouble"
- The evil spirit must choose evil... The black mass... The spells... The incantations... The curses... The ceremonial sex...SIMON - KING OF THE WITCHES"
