You know what? I'm about 10 years too late for this thread, but I use "Guide" for The Questing Beast.
And if I ever write that over-the-top furry game I want to write you can bet your ass it'll be "BeastMaster".

Buffy, unsurprisingly enough, uses "Director."
Spaceship Zero uses, I believe, Zero Meister.

In my Refreshing Rain, the player with the most GM0responsibility is called the Astrologer.
Skyrealms of Jorune uses Sholari.

So, is there a concensus on which game "Game Master" first appeared in?
I see it in Gamma World (1978). My copy is not from 1978, so I cannot verify.

Whoa whoa whoa -- if I bumped that thread, I must have been dreaming, cause it was right smack dab in the top of my list.
I wonder what happened there? Maybe it had something to do with not being logged in? I dunno.

I'll bite: HMFIC?
In HarnMaster, is it a HarnMasterMaster? If they had an RPGA "Living" campaign, there would have to be a Master HarnMasterMaster.
Too much caffeine.

I'm thinking of having a dual-GM system for Exquisite, where the GMs are titled Shahryar and The Maiden; Shahryar is a constant, while The Maiden is a title that can be reassigned during play.
