Ok, so James V West liked my game Tales from the Wood (see his Anthropomorphic post), but do any of the rest of you think it is worth getting it smartened up and something done with it?
Any thoughts on the system? Anything else you think would be needed? More importantly, would any of you play it. It's not one of the most popular genres after all. There's let me see .... none that I know of in this vein other than my own Its a Dogs Life.

Well....there is/was Bunnies and Burrows a game heavily based on "Watership Down".  It came out as a standalone game in the mid 70's and it's most recent re-incarnation was as a GURPS supplement.  Good luck finding it, it's been out of print for awhile.  A search on Google will turn up a variety of pages related to it....appears someone is trying to convert it to d20.

However, reading through your material, it's clear that you're offering a wider scope of Creature options than B&B.

While I've never played Bunnies and Burrows (GURPS seemed far too system-oriented for a game where characters couldn't count past 3), I've frequently toyed with the idea.  I think there's a lot of potential there, but it can be hard to get people jazzed on the idea.  I do think it's appeal goes up sharply when it's offered as a one-shot.  Totally breaking the mold and taking on a character with vastly different abilitites and worldview can be a refreshing change of pace.

Don't laugh, Larry would strike unseen from the shadows and Curly...well, Curly once toppled a dictatorship with the key from a Sardine tin.

Only Bunnies with the "Not Cowardly" Flaw.

Seriously, without a reference close to hand, I know that simple baskets were one of the items you could make (for an appropriately "unnatural-level" game).  I seem to recall Bun-Fu being the aggression style of choice as opposed to actual weapons.
