Hi there,

I'm revising Sorcerer's links page. I'm also thinking that I want to branch it out into non-gaming circles.

So far, I've found some stuff about the following:
- horror film (especially Argento-style stuff)
- those odd people who want to talk about "real" sorcery (Tantric message boards - hoo boy!)
- interesting wizard/demonic art pages
- Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa - I want to send this guy a copy of the game ...
- offbeat/fringe horror writers (e.g. Lansdale to take the most "normal")

But I'd very much like to garner a set of suggestions from Sorcerer readers and players. What kind of links would you like to see? Even better, what ACTUAL pages can you suggest?

Best,
Ron

Just responding to myself here ... yup, kinda lonely, just me an' the old blue dog, out here in the swamp. Yup.

The news is that I posted a bevy of new funky links at the Sorcerer site. Check them out and give me comments, and with any luck, more suggestions.

Many thanks to those of you who've already done so! (Manu, Lon, Sean)

Best,
Ron

Location of said links? Either they haven't been put up yet or they're too buried (or I'm too dense) for me to find them.

Hi Jared,

The links are in the blue menu section - start by clicking "The Game" from the main page, and then "Links" is one of the options from that section.

Or you can just click http://www.sorcerer-rpg.com/brochure.php/links.html">here and that will solve everything.

Hey Ron,

Yeah, I think an Asia Argento page would be great.  What?  You meant her dad?  Yeah, I guess that would be okay too.

Seriously, have you considered linking sites that would support the mini-supplements?  I know Jared has Cronenberg links from his site, but I found a bunch of cool pages that reminded me of Urge while researching my own werewolf game.

Take care,
Scott

Scott,

Mini-supplement-based pages are a great idea. I should have included a Cronenberg link already - especially anything concerning The Brood, which may rank as the finest single horror flick I have ever seen.

Email me the links for the werewolf (or pseudo-werewolf) stuff, if you can recover them. I'll think a bit about the others.

Best,
Ron

I know we talked briefly on this previously, but I just wanted to toss my 4-and-a-quarter into the pot for all to know and love...

-www.irs.com  (the REAL demons!)
-a link to some Crowley (ugh), or LaVey (at least he's   funny), or some other crackpot "demonologist"
-I like the sorcery idea in linking to the odd-people pages (tantric provides better porn than Cinemax), but I think something that would aid in a cultural influence would be nice as well (I just advocated cultural awareness, shoot me).  A lot of the more unique ideas (straight lines and demons in Chinese literature, for instance) could put a very fun spin on Sorcerer games I am thinking.
-Goethe, Marlowe, Swanwick, Kafka, in that order.
-Catholics and Jews (the two most identical religions in the world... that hate each other... very funny.  Lots of demons though)

There you go.

Not sure if this is something you'd want Ron, but I've found that info on alchemy is handy for my Sorcerer game.  Check out - http://www.levity.com/alchemy/
